The History Of DataTel

We began operations in 1963 as Executone - Central Idaho in Nampa, Idaho. As dealer of Executone products, our first installations were primarily oriented toward intercom and nurse call systems used in health care institutions.

As the communications industry grew, so did we and we relocated to Boise, Idaho in 1981. The offices near the intersection of Cole and Franklin roads, and our second location in Twin Falls, Idaho, served as our base of operations to support our many telephone / intercom / nurse call customers in Southern Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Northern Nevada.

In 1994, we relocated our Boise office to our present location in Meridian, Idaho, and have been growing steadily ever since. Recently, key long-time employees of the company acquired ownership of the firm, and they apply their vast experience and commitment to serve the customers and community.

As we enter our fifth decade of business, we have exceeded a collective 1,000 years of experience, and we look forward to working with our customers to building many, many more years of progress and success!
