5300 Integrated Office Companion – Basic
The Mitel 5300 Integrated Office Companion – Basic is a FREE software application that allows users of the Mitel 5330 IP Phone and 5340 IP Phone to manage phone calls on their PC, and also provides productivity enhancements like click to dial, incoming caller ID pop-up, PC-based missed calls and speed calls list, and personal (Microsoft® Outlook®) directory integration.
5300 Integrated Office Companion – Enhanced
The Mitel 5300 Integrated Office Companion – Enhanced is an add on software option that provides Microsoft® presence integration, and an Office Productivity feature set that make voice communications more effective by providing at-a-glance contact availability for speed dials right on the phone display. The tight integration of the 5330 / 5340 IP Phones with Microsoft® Office allows users to be more efficient in their communications with customers and suppliers.
5300 Intelligent Directory
The 5300 Intelligent Directory application provides a simple, intuitive on-screen, searchable directory of both corporate (Microsoft® Active Directory®) and personal contacts (Microsoft® Outlook®), right on the phone’s display. It allows users to search on the phone for contacts, using the familiar keypad search that users are accustomed to on their cell phones and handheld devices.
5300 Intelligent Directory Presence Option
This option provides at-a-glance presence information for the entire corporate directory list. Presence information is automatically fed from the instant messaging contact list (Microsoft® Office Live Communications Server® 2005 today and migrating to Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 in early 2008) to the display of the 5330 / 5340 IP Phones.
