Mitel Networks 5700 Voice First Solution represents the evolution of audio, video and multimedia collaboration into a truly user-focused experience. With the 5700 Voice First Solution users can initiate instant collaboration sessions in an audio, video or Web-based form, and freely switch between multiple media. With the 5700 Voice First Solution a user begins a collaboration session from their Mitel Networks IP phone and through the touch-of-a-button can switch into a video, audio or Web collaboration session. The 5700 Voice First Solution gives users the freedom and flexibility to make on-the-fly adjustments to the media of choice, whether voice, video or Web.

The 5700 Voice First Solution operates across the enterprise, whether at the desktop or conference room. Enabled through the power of the Mitel Networks 3300 Integrated Communications Platform (ICP), the 5700 Voice First Solution allows customers to leverage their existing enterprise network to deliver powerful multimedia conferencing solutions. The 5700 Voice First Application also supports industry standards like H.323 and ISDN for legacy connectivity.

Future releases of the 5700 Voice First Solution will include support for Mitel Networks 6600 Your Assistant.

Mitel Networks 5750 Desktop Video Appliance Enables interactive videoconferencing from any connected desktop or laptop equipped with Mitel Networks 5020 IP Phone. It includes a portable base unit, speaker tower, and camera device that connects with the user’s PC/laptop. The standard edition supports video up to a maximum of 384 Kbps. The professional version supports video up to a maximum of 1.5Mbps and also includes a portable carrying case for mobile users.

Mitel Networks 5760 Videoconference Appliance Accommodates larger venues and operates with Mitel Networks 5310 Boardroom Conference Unit and a standard television monitor or PC capable of accepting S-Video. It includes a versatile set-top camera and features simplified remote operation via a handheld device that is very similar to the familiar TV remote. The Standard version is a dual mode, ISDN-IP product that supports up to 768Kbps for video and a single BRI channel for ISDN. The Enhanced version supports up to three BRI channels for ISDN.

Enhanced Audio Conferencing Capabilities As part of Mitel Networks five-phase strategy for enterprise collaboration, users can now benefit from the ability to hold private sidebar conversations, make other phone calls, or add new people to the call without putting the conference on hold. It’s all done while continuing to listen to the conference call in the background and is managed through an interface on an IP phone, networked PC or wireless PDA.
